“No.” Aventurine doesn’t press for answers. Instead, he closes his eyes and cants his head back further. “Should you feel any discomfort, do let me know.”
For a vampire, he’s awfully considerate, he thinks before his thoughts are unceremoniously cut off by fangs piercing the unmarred skin of his neck.

Ratio didn’t respond, instead brushing the hair from Aventurine’s eyes so tenderly that it hurt. Aventurine should have known Ratio wouldn’t be so easily distracted. Ratio cupped Aventurine’s face, looking him in the eye like a lover. Like an equal.
Aventurine had to blink back tears.
“Aventurine,” Ratio said, soft, sincere. But then, Ratio was always sincere with him when it counted, “Dearest.”
That nickname. It was stupid to get so emotional over it. And yet.
Aventurine took a shuddering breath, “Yes?”
His heart was pounding almost painfully. He cared about Ratio way too much.
Ratio held him like he was everything and said, “You need more friends.”
In which, at Ratio's insistence, Aventurine tries to make some friends.

Summary
Blade-Three, also known as Three, is the living weapon of the Watchers. Conditioned to follow orders, it is meant to use its considerable strength, combat abilities, and total loyalty to obliterate the enemies of the Watchers. Of course, the "following orders" part comes first, which is how, when Listener agent Martyn InTheLittleWood comes along with the right command words, he manages to steal it.
Now, instead of missions that make any sense, Three must navigate as Martyn and his roommate Jimmy attempt to teach it how to be human, or at least enough of a person to be itself. It would help if either Martyn or Jimmy knew how to be human either, and if they weren't falling apart at the seams after the death of an old friend.
(And of course, there's the matter of Three's original identity, a question no one thinks to ask...)
Or: in which Evo had a bad end, and five years later, the pieces that were left behind start to accidentally fall back together.

Although to Mumbo Jumbo, she was just Grian. Grian, wearing a silly costume, putting on a little show. Mumbo thought it a bit silly, honestly, these shows. He had never been to one himself. But when his friend, Scar, invites him to go to one of these shows, Mumbo realizes that Grian isn’t the only person apart of this performance
