But that was only at home games, the ones Tommy wasn’t really supposed to be awake to watch but did anyway.
Turns out Dream is equally bad at gambling outside, too, and now he has debts to pay. Debts he’s desperate to get rid of.

Summary
The name of the game was Faces.
Someone would call out a cover, then they’d shake their fists and throw out a number - as if they were rolling dice.
Get the right number; that’s your face.
Some people played to lose - not liking the option that was thrown out - others played to win, if it was their strong-suit.
Techno usually won things like ‘body guard’ or ‘thug’, winning anything else with his frame would be a struggle to pull off, though he had made an impressive ‘rich a-hole’ a couple times.
Wilbur was known to pull off just about anything - to the point the others weren’t even sure if he actually tried during Faces. He’d pulled off playboy, orphan, pauper, and tailor, youngest child, oldest child, social worker, and even interpreter.
But this one.
This was just impossible.
“Hybrid?!” The brunet’s hands clutched at his hair, yanking at the strands in distress, “how am I supposed to do that?!”

Wilbur was always far too curious for his own good.
“You’re part sprite,” his mother would say, half-scolding for something he couldn’t control, “you can’t help it.”
And while it was true that Wilbur craved adventure, and his heart yearned for the magical world of the forest beyond his village’s gate, he knew he wasn’t supposed to go on an adventure, he was just supposed to forage for some medicine for his mother.
But the inhabitants of the forest had other plans.

Summary
Tim wakes up in a world in which Batman doesn't exist. And by consequence, the Robins never became heroes.
Dick is a Talon, Jason is Red Hood (a villain), and Damian is a League of Assassins assassin. And Tim apparently is a hero called Draken, who, frankly, sucks at being a hero.
And in this weird alternate reality, something big is brewing and Batman isn't here to keep the Justice League from tearing itself apart.
Tim is really really done with everything. Dick, Jason, and Damian aren't helping.
Tim really really hates magic as well.

Summary
He didn’t know what was wrong with him.
He’d been trying, really he had. When Phil sat him down and offered to turn him he knew that it meant drinking the blood of other people. Unwilling people. He… he accepted that. Made peace with it just so he wasn’t so damn alone anymore.
Wilbur loved his new family. His coven. They were everything he ever wanted and his instincts latched onto them with no problem. Hell- even his turning was perfect. He wasn’t a fussy fledgeling, at least according to Phil, and he had no issue with feeding from him.
So he didn’t know why he just… couldn't feed.

Wilbur lays miserably in the nest while he self loathes about his instincts preventing him to properly feed on humans until, miraculously, a human comes and gives him all the answers he's been needing.
