Summary
After the Pogtopian rebels retake power, former Emperor Consort Quackity is kept alive for two reasons: first, because he assassinated his own husband for them. Second, because his hand in marriage is a valuable bargaining chip.
The only one to accept is Sapnap, a half-demon infamous for violence. Quackity, who would like to know what happened to Sapnap’s last fiance, has many objections but no choice.

Summary
Quackity, however, is on a time crunch. He does not have months to steal Karl’s textbooks and research precisely the right demon for this particular arrangement.

Summary
Karl laughs, then hiccups. He crawls over and molds himself into Quackity’s side. The cool weight of him is grounding.
“I was lying when I said Tina was my only best friend,” Karl says. “It’s just that you’re special.”
Quackity’s stomach flips. He tells himself it’s the wine, or the end of the world. “You’re special too.”
“What are we going to do?”
“We’re gonna tell Sapnap,” Quackity says. Alcohol emboldens him. His resolve steels. “I promised him I would. Then we’re gonna—fucking, save the world, I guess.”
(the host of a cosmic horror, the harbinger of the apocalypse, and a guy who's failing chemistry try to stop the apocalypse. what's the punchline?)

Summary
Phil turns around. A roll of bandages falls from his hand and to the floor. A quiet gasp echoes in the room.
He smiles at him, and then his gaze catches on his own arm. It’s already bandaged, for some reason. Interesting. He hadn’t caught that before. Red is seeping through at a rapid pace; it should probably be changed anyway.
“Hi, Phil,” he says. “Tada!” He throws in some jazz hands for good measure. “That’s a neat trick, isn’t it? No clue how I’m doing it, but I like it a lot. I’m a bird now, Phil. Caw caw, motherfucker.”
Wilbur returns to life on a warm Thursday morning. Somehow, this almost comes secondary to the fact that he seems to have picked up a new skill.
(Or: Wilbur comes back, immediately discovers that he can shapeshift now, for some reason, and goes to tell Phil about it. Phil, meanwhile, is just trying to roll with the punches, and Wilbur's hardly making it easy.)

Summary
“Are you really going to do this?” Wilbur asks again, but it wavers less than the first time, and there is something steely, something cold in the question. A threat in the delivery. “You’re going to try and stop me, now? Come save the day, like a hero should?”
Saving the day isn’t why Techno became a hero, but he’ll admit, in all the insufferable training he’s sat through, that sort of message did stick. Like glue to his fingers, or maybe gum on his shoe. He is a hero now. He’s meant to save people. Save the day.
“You’ve gone too far.” Techno mutters.
(Or, twinsduo superhero/supervillain au. Wilbur steps a little too far over the edge, and Techno follows.)
