• Peter promised to go on the Field Trip.

• He really cared about passing this class.
• He could definitely handle both Flash and the Avengers at the same time.
• Clint doesn't steal Bucky's cookies so that Peter gets none.
• Flash had common sense.Those were not.
Peter's school is going an an 'amazing and fun' field trip to SI. He promised Ned that he would go to keep him company, but really doesn't want to. Hopefully the Avengers leave him alone for long enough to survive.

Summary
There were many theories about his identity (some more ridiculous than others) but the fact was, none of the SI workers actually knew which one was true. And that’s why they all settled on calling him The Kid.
It’s not like he was really secretive or didn’t talk to anybody. It was quite the opposite actually. He was very talkative and his mouth seemed to never shut up. But he just rarely was in one place long enough to have a longer, meaningful conversation about his identity with anybody. Or he talked so much that nobody had an occasion to ask him any questions.
So he stayed a secret to everyone working in the tower. Until, one day, to everyone’s surprise, he came to SI with a field trip from Midtown High.

“Peter, unlike you, I wasn’t bitten by a spider, so I’m not a mind reader.”
“Ned, keep your voice down! And you do realize I can’t read minds.”

“Yeah, that’s because – goddamn it, I don’t have time for this.”
“Can you just please tell me what is going on?”

just ur average field trip trope, only peter has to stay over for three days. this is the first fanfic i ever wrote and the trope is actually what got me into fanfiction for some reason. its really fluffy, no real angst except peter being embarrassed by his found family. rated teen for language.

After Aunt May's death Peter was adopted by Tony and now legally goes by the name of Peter Parker-Stark. A few weeks after he moved into the tower the pardoned Rogues came back so everyone is once again living at the Stark/Avengers Tower.
