It's all biology. Buck understands. As an alpha, that's the reaction you get when a fertile omega goes in heat in your vicinity. It doesn't help the way he wants to scream and stomp his feet and track Dylan down just to strangle him. It doesn't help the way his heart is rebelling at the fact that a strange wolf is eliciting this reaction from Eddie and how his wolf never will.
How that stranger can send Eddie into rut while he has to contemplate life-altering suppressants to be able to even have a chance. Logically, that's the way to do it. But he has never been logical when it comes to Eddie.

Eddie’s not sure what he’s doing in this place, in this poorly lit, dingy, sort of smelly bathroom. This place, this bathroom around the back of some mostly ignored 24/7 gas station, has been a known cruising spot for years. Men come and go at all hours, staff don’t ask questions or even look up from whatever is keeping them occupied.
Eddie’s never cruised before, but he was needing to do something different. Something to make him feel free.
