The four share a confused glance at each other before laughing heartily. Day only smiling wider at the response. The frog raises a brow. “And how exactly do you intend to kill us?”
His gravelly yet high pitched voice grates on Day's ears but he just shakes his head and puts his hands on his chest. “Oh I can’t kill you.. But my buddy can!”
That seems to at least give them pause as the sheep loses her smirk and narrows her eyes. “Your buddy..?
Day just grins at her, hooking his thumbs on his suspenders. “Well sure! Say hi buddy!”

The critters were fascinated by the newest new arrival to the valley. A purple feline hiding more surprises than any of them would have expected.
For DogDay though, it’s clear that something else is buried deep underneath their new friend’s kind caring nature and soothing presence. CatNap was sweet and kind, but also… strange, not exactly in a bad way though. It’s just… Why did he always flinch when someone hugged him? Why did he look so incredulous when someone offered him the smallest gesture of kindness? And most of all… why didn’t he talk…?
