Akechi had long since calculated that: Very unwise. “I already have,” he said anyway. “The damn thing followed me home the other day and won’t leave.” He refrained from commenting on the sense of déjà vu it evoked.
Ren snorted. “Sounds more like it adopted you.”
Again the parallels were clear, and again Akechi kept them to himself.

Summary
The first time they slept together, Goro was 24, with four years of juvenile detention on his record.
Ren was 23, fresh out of college with a degree his parents forced him to take, the diploma framed uselessly next to the Sayuri.
People come and go, as Goro learned, but some people may stay. And Ren, to his dismay, has decided to do just that.

Summary

In what seemed like a chance meeting, Akira made the acquaintance of the famed Detective Prince and could now inexplicably read his mind.
Knowing he's living on borrowed time, he not only has to get enough information to both prevent his assassination but also to try and get closer to Akechi to see what makes him tick and in the end gets lost in the whirlwind of what really lies behind that genial smile.
