“What’s she like?”
Alicent sighs. “I do not know. We were friends many years ago.”
At least, Alicent likes to think they were friends. But the princess was always sporadic with her attentions— quick to grow bored of things, discarding the old in favor of the new. Alicent supposes that’s what happened to her, as well. She had written letters, those first few moons after she returned to Oldtown.
The princess never responded.

The king is seeking a husband for his omega daughter, so countless lords send their sons to vie for the hand of the future queen.
Alicent is not a son. She is not a knight. Her presentation was surely a mistake, one that’s cost her everything. Now she is her brother’s squire, accompanying him to King’s Landing as he competes for the princess's hand.

“When Hermione turns back around with wide eyes, she doesn’t know what she expects. Perhaps an equally shocked face. Perhaps fury at having been touched by a Mudblood. Perhaps no reaction at all.

All that remains of her cursed scar is a dull ache she’s able to manage — until one day, her fingers accidentally brush Narcissa Malfoy’s at the Ministry, awakening something Hermione never asked to inherit. And as her investigations drag her deeper into the Black sisters’ past, the lines between identity, duty, and desire begin to blur.

Dividing people into groups based on different facets of their personalities was never going to be accurate or healthy. Hermione knew that.
So, defining any one person based on these traits was illogical, and relying on such information would prove faulty.
Despite this, there was one fact that was universally acknowledged throughout Hogwarts History by any who paid attention:
Slytherins were attracted to power.

Devils, fairies, cursed books... Lyrion's life never slowed down. One fight after another, she pushed forward as her oath dictated. So when she woke up in a world with an unfamiliar sky and the threat of ice demons, she did what she always did—she fought.
It's just a shame that the people here are more interested in fighting for an iron throne than for their own survival.Or, a Paladin of Selûne finds herself in Westeros and tries to save the day.
