“That objectively is a horrible idea,” Kiyoomi mutters under his breath. Miya kicks at the bottom of his rolling chair, probably just to fuck with him a bit. When Kiyoomi scowls at him and pointedly pulls himself back to his desk, Miya kicks at his chair again.
“What idea are you bringing to the table, then, Mr. TikTok Influencer?”

He’s a good regular, comes by with his boyfriend a lot.” He gives Atsumu a look from the corner of his eye. “You better not have scared him away.”Miya Atsumu is the opening shift barista at his brother's bakery. Enchanting lattes and selling scones is an easy enough job—easy enough that Atsumu can almost pretend it's really what he wants.

But the rest of it slips through his fingers, and the guy he just slammed into has some seriously great reflexes, because he manages to snatch them both out of the air before they can hit the ground.
“Oh, god, sorry—” Tim starts to say as the guy straightens up, and then he stops. A set of amused green eyes look down at him over a wide grin.
You’ve got to be kidding, Tim thinks.
“Got somewhere to be, sweetheart? Oh, now that’s a pretty shade of red you’re turning—”
“I’m late,” Tim snaps, snatching his keys and phone out of Jason’s hand. “I got lost four fucking times on my way here. If this city was a person, I would throttle it.”
