There are little bursts of him everywhere and Hyunsuk hates how domesticated it all is, how his heart thumps inside his chest when he remembers the little bursts of Doyoung and Jihoon in his own apartment; all the half finished coloring books and broken crayons, with old school notebooks that Doyoung never finished and Jihoon’s clothes sitting in his laundry basket.
Their lives are so eagerly intertwined at this point that Hyunsuk thinks it’ll be weird not to find Jihoon’s watch in his vanity table or Doyoung’s moomin slippers in his hyeongwan.

“Is the pup kicking yet?” Jihoon asks, hand on Hyunsuk’s belly.
“Nope, not yet, Jihoonie,” Hyunsuk says while flipping through the channels on their living room TV, the omega more than used to the alpha’s incessant pestering about their future son or daughter by now.
“Okay, but how about now?” Jihoon persists, moving his hand a little higher and then a little lower, as if he were trying to get the pup to kick.
Hyunsuk pauses for a moment and squints down at his stomach. “No, still nothing.”
He hears Jihoon groan and pout from beside him before a small thump can be felt against his stomach, followed quickly by another one, making them both gasp. “It kicked!”
Jihoon didn’t think his omega would be so clingy while carrying their pup, but hey, he’s not complaining! Or, the nine months Jihoon and Hyunsuk spend together waiting for their pup to arrive.
