Kaoru'd went on ahead from Kojiro, leaving the guy in the dust; as always, a competition on who could learn a skill or do something faster; today though, something had distracted his mind as he skated towards the local skate shop, Dope Sketch.
Kids were yelling.
And it wasn't until he was forcing his eyes into a squint to get a better look that he'd realised why it caught his eye.
