When he’s done, she doesn’t pay him nor thank him. Instead, she hands him a signed director's copy of Seven Samurai on DVD and says “the door? see yourself out of it.”
Later, he texts her a picture of him watching it. She blocks his number.
OR
Monet and Aki aren't friends. Except they sort of are, when no one else is around.

Summary
It often comes as a surprise to no one that Monet did not grow up in a particularly warm family environment. Weakness was frowned upon and kindness- the ultimate shortcoming. It was eat or be eaten, every cunning bitch and conniving bastard for themselves in the de Haan household.
Kindness and softness don't get you a wardrobe full of Louboutins and a full rotation of Chanel purses as well as annual holidays in Capri- no, pharmaceuticals and a nose for blood in the water are what get you all that.
