By the time 11 PM rolls up, she’s quite certain that she’s managed to avoid everyone she wants to avoid, from Jackson to Tim to the Caleb guy and decides she’s probably safe to go home.
She’s tired and upset and none of this is fair, not to her, not to Tim and not to her friends. It’s silly – they’ve already cleared it with Grey, and IA have probably rolled their eyes but they did sign off on it, so everything is... Good.
Everything is great, actually, she thinks to herself as she shakes her head. She’s being needlessly stupid and, if her suspicions are correct, and they are, because she can read him like a worn-out book by now, she’s being needlessly hurtful to Tim.
