Summary
In their final moments together, Sonic and Shadow put aside their differences and fought together. Saving the world from certain doom - Shadow losing his life in the process.
At least, that's what Sonic had thought. When his (rival? ally? friend?) is found alive, Sonic keeps their relationship hidden from the rest of his family. Between the looming threat of GUN over their heads, the search for missing Chaos Emeralds, and re-adjusting to life with Tom out of the hospital, surely keeping Shadow a secret wouldn't hurt. Right? ...Right?AKA I really like Sonadow, and I want to put them in danger because the trauma builds character

Sonic cut himself off when he saw them.
It was them.
The Sonic and Shadow from this universe, and they had their arms wrapped around each other."
Or basically Sonic and Shadow travel the shatterverse and end up in a reality where they're both dating.
