Taken away as a baby. Lincoln (or Rinkon by the japanese locals) and his friends/teammates under the guide of the secret otaku and weeaboo Organization called Jonetsu which they're main goal is to "Restore" Japan using the power of Duel Monsters along with they're Anime and Manga "Expertise".
Equipped with his trusty Duel Disk and Lincoln's Duel Monsters deck, He and his friends will overcome any obstacle... Except a fateful encounter of the kids' families that they thought they left behind.

Summary
This is basically a possible Head-Canon of mine if only the original Lego Movie characters existed, and Rex's timeline never did. It would still play out mostly the same as the second movie, but Emmet isn't able to be rescued. Thankfully, just like he did in the movie, he'd never grow up to be like Rex, and remain his good, kind self.
Lucy meanwhile, and all their friends are absolutely crushed at losing their close friend, and Lucy for losing the Love of her life.
However, she never gave up on looking for him, and believed her sweet, innocent Emmet - her lover - was still out there somewhere. Lucy would do whatever it took to bring back the Light of her life, show him how sorry she was, for asking him to change, and everything in between, and how much she truly loved him as Emmet Brickowski.
