The hologram shifted to a tiny flickering sphere. “This is Tukoot VII. A small moon, inhabited only by one settlement of miners in the town of Myrsa Minor. Mostly inhabited by Mandalorian diaspora, as well as a handful of people from all around, who came for work.”
One of the first things Caleb had told him, after his official Padawan ceremony, was not to ask questions to the Council or speak out of turn. Sometimes it would work in his favor- most of the time it was a very bad idea. It was taking everything in Ezra to bite his tongue and not ask for Master Gallia to get to the point.
On their first official mission as Master & Padawan, Ezra and Caleb encounter more than they were bargaining for on Tukoot VII. On this remote moon in the Outer Rim, their new partnership is tested as they unravel secrets, conspiracies, and a project that threatens the Republic.

“I’m looking at the old GAR databases.” Tech forced his tone out even and unaffected. “Reg manuals.”
That made Echo snort. “Surprised you haven’t memorized those already.”
“Unnecessary. Our situation in the field was hardly regular,” Tech sniffed, and almost immediately regretted his tone by how it made Echo blink, frowning a little. It wasn’t Echo’s fault that he was feeling poorly, and he knew from previous conversations that reading the reg manuals was how Echo used to unwind between missions with his old squad.
“I’m looking into information on the Separatists,” Tech added in a more conciliatory tone.
By Echo’s small frown, it had the opposite effect. “That old man got to you,” he said.
