“Feisty,” he grins wider. The hell. “Nice. No, it’s because I had a bad falling out with my sister and she claimed all the best intersections this entire side of Louisiana, and I had no choice in getting backed up into this corner.” He sounds… sincerely displeased. This is not how she had thought this would go.
“Is corner-dividing a family thing with your lot now?”
“You summoned me,” he shrugs. “And you still haven’t told me why a vampire would need to make a deal.”

Or: in which Jaime has to reconsider his very, very wrong notions about what Brienne's supposed innocence entails. Then again, he's extremely glad to be wrong.
