Summary
Hamato Raphael: the Muscle of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the hotheaded brawler … a misunderstood teenager with anger issues. His natural aggression makes him difficult to approach and you know what? He’s fine with that. People suck, dealing with them is a pain in the shell. Everything just sucks right now and no one gets to tell him otherwise. Yeah, he and his brothers saved the world and got rid of their biggest enemies but at what cost? Life is boring now, he’s got a cargo ship's load of trauma he doesn’t even want to think about and his father is dead and he’s only got himself to blame for that cherry on top of the shit sundae that is his life. So excuse him if he isn’t feeling super awesome right now.
His brothers and friends — they’re all socializing and being happy together, as if they somehow found the secret to moving on. Him? He’d rather be alone, like the recluse that he is. He’s better off that way. They don’t have to deal with him, he can’t hurt them when he’s not even in the same room as them and ( for the most part ) they respect his decision to keep his distance. It works out.
… so why can’t they just do themselves a favor and leave him be?
