Elle loved noise. She loved the sound of parties full of chatter, she loved the sound of the birds chirping in the morning, and she loved the sound of the pop music that played in the hair salon.
But as she sat in class, she hated the sound of the keys on someone's laptop clicking, she hated the sound of the professor speaking, and she hated the sound of someone's breathing (which was way too loud). She hated noise.
