Amid an epidemic of ghosts terrorizing London, Dorcas Meadowes and Marlene McKinnon lead rivaling groups of psychic investigation agents.
In Dorcas' opinion, McKinnon & Co. is an agency like many others - a band of naive amateurs with no discernible skill that pose more threat to London than they do it good. If you ask Marlene, however, Dorcas Meadowes is stuck-up, arrogant, and frankly, not half as talented as everyone keeps saying.
Albus Dumbledore, however, seems to think they'd make the perfect team to work on a very special case together.
