She poked her head above the barrier that separated her world from the human’s, resting it upon her long scaled fingers, stained crimson from her recent kill. She could feel the sweet ichor dripping down her mouth as she watched the copper-haired woman stitch by candlelight through her window just meters away. She was mesmerized.
She should want to kill her, but she didn’t.
