“For someone who's supposedly a spy, you seem to get yourself caught often” Champagne muttered, tugging the bulletproof vest off Cider's chest, dampening up the towel and moving it over Cider’s exposed skin before helping him into the sweatshirt he got him instead. It was a little loose on the sniper's thinner frame but better than staying in those clothes from earlier.
“It's not easy sneaking around with a whole rifle, you know… look at that thing!” Cider grumbled, pointing to the corner between the bathroom wall and the glass of the shower, Cider's rifle propped up against the corner. It looked like it'd been wiped clean from any dirt or dust, which was expected with how the sniper cared about it more than himself.

“What trick are you talking about, dove?” Kaito calls out slowly, his voice soft as to not startle the little. Shinichi looks up from where he was fiddling with his shirt while talking, his ears flushing pink in embarrassment, and he hides his face away into the cushion of the couch, murmuring something that kaito couldn't really hear. “What was that darling?”
“The flower one!” Shinichi repeats a little louder, fingers gripping the cushion tighter as he peaked up to look at Kaito, earning a soft coo and a ruffle of a hand through his hair.

“Why're you here?” Champagne's tone is stern in a way, Cider doesn't understand the switch, the grin he had on was gone after his own shock passed.
“You said to look around” Cider just shrugs, turning back to the sinks, averting his eyes from the view of either of them in the mirror and washing his hands instead. He hadn't even touched anything in the restroom, he just wanted to busy himself in anything other than looking up at Champagne, but he can still keep an eye on him from the slight movements he can see in the mirror reflection.

“Not the first time ever, it was when… you planned to steal that fire gem, and we ended up just talking on the roof of that tower,” Shinichi says after a moment, accepting the card back from the thief and trying to imitate the slow action with furrowed eyebrows. The card falls out again, and KID hums at both the action and the statement, moving one hand to fix up the way Shinichi was holding the card, helping him move his fingers around it.
“Yeah, and I got you chocolate, and you said you didn’t like sweets. I was offended, y’know?” KID mutters, his chin still leaning against his hand, tilting his head to the side lightly, and Shinichi scrunches up his nose and leans back when KID’s top hat gets in his face.

“You know I suck at dancing…” Shinichi murmured, but he didn't let go of Kaito's hand or shoulder either, in fact, he grasped onto them a little bit more, causing the thief to hum a bit with the song, spinning them once.
“I never asked you to be good at it” Kaito mumbled, and Shinichi rolled his eyes with a slight laugh. Of course Kaito wouldn't ask him to be good at anything, they've been dating for months now, the thief knew what Shinichi can and can't do but he still feels embarrassed about it.

Summary
After their many trials and tribulations, Kaito and Shinichi are finally together. Things are going well for the two until Shinichi becomes aware of some familiar symptoms; his heat is coming, his first since partially bonding with Kaito. This brings up new sources of insecurities for the detective, causing him to once again push the other away. But Kaito is ready to show him he loves all sides of him, if Shinichi will let him.

Summary
All Shinichi's life, everyone told him he was going to be an alpha.
