So much has happened, and honestly, everyone needs some time and some comfort. The world's not gonna wait for them to heal though. Everything feels... Different.

I put them there to be OVERLY cautious, cause I wouldn't wanna trigger somebody's ptsd or trauma on accident, but never does MK ACTUALLY cut/take/attempt to take his own life, etc. I would have put 'implications' if possible, cause it's more like everyone being paranoid because he acted (lowkey) suicidal in the end of season 5. As for the self-harm, just harmful stims. Again, I'd wanna mention it to be sure, but I swear it's not as bad as it sounds- -

Summary
The Calamity AU is an Alternate Universe based heavily on the Phighting canon, with some interpretation mixed in.
Basically, Coil, with the help of others, creates a rebellion to go against Blackrock and the things that go on in that faction. There are other main storylines, including the Church and its potentially 'corrupt' history as well.

This was so precious oh my god 😭
And like I commented in the first chapter, the characters really feel, well, super in-character. It's something I'm still REALLY struggling with, but also something I can tell was given good care. A great fic with a little bit of angst, but still feels comfy and cozy in the end.

Everyone else in MK's life can tell that the kid needs a break. When Sun Wukong steps up and gives his successor a week off, MK misinterprets the goal of his mentor's gift. Overthinking is a bitch, and anxiety is debilitating.

Summary
MK is doing great after the Pillar Incident.
His family is safe, the world isn't actively tearing apart at the seams, there are no new villains from Monkey King's past trying to tear apart the peace they've finally received. It's great! Clearly everything isn't going to be normal, but MK can live with that.
Sure, he's getting nightmares, but that's fine! His human form is feeling more and more like a costume, and he can tell his friends are worried, but it's fine. MK is fine. Nothing he hasn't dealt with before. It's what he deserves after all.
He is the Harbinger of Chaos.
