Alex has always been Eddie’s rock ever since he could remember. He was the one he relied on most of the time growing up and at times, they were almost inseparable. When he was getting bullied in school, Alex was there to protect him. When a band member started exploiting Eddie’s talents, Alex was there to call the guy out. He loved Alex and trusted him more than anything, so Eddie couldn’t understand why he felt such a strong need to hide from him all of the sudden.

Peter on purpose (accidentally) convinces the Avengers that he can read spider minds, and that's why he always leaves whenever there's a spider present. And it's totally not because he's afraid of them! No, really, he just doesn't want to mentally violate them so he has to leave!
He always knows when there's a spider in a given room because his spidey sense–which is both poorly and aptly named–always goes off. Plus he can hear their little feet scurrying across the walls and floors... ugh!
