“What aren’t you telling me?” Yagami frowns, shuffling over to face Sugiura’s front. “You do realize who you’re talking to, right? I’m going to figure it out sooner or later.”
“Let me see.” Yagami moves to grab at Sugiura’s hands, to tug them away from whatever he’s hiding—
“I said I’m fine.” Sugiura hisses out harshly, lifting his hands and arms up and out of Yagami’s reach. His voice is shaky as he speaks though, and it sets off more alarms in Yagami’s mind than he cares to count.
Yagami comes to Sugiura’s rescue just in the nick of time. Sugiura’s reaction isn’t quite what Yagami expected, but it’s far from an unwelcome one.
