Honestly I just wanted to write poetry to fill in in-universe gaps for what ritual and worship look like in the incredibly religious Lands Between. I might use elements of this in another fic, but I am very proud of the work in its entirety.
A prayer from the journals of an adherent to St. Trina, found in a crumbling ruin on the side of the road. Stained with blood.

Summary
A hefty black leather-bound journal of exotic skin adorned in gilded trim glistens wherever light touches. From a glance, evidence of torn out entries has left obvious gaps within the journal’s spine. The first few pages are filled with practiced scrawlings of a signature written in differing styles, spelling the words: "CAELUM" and "CORVUS"
Records begin after, progressing in time with tidier strokes and composition.
