“There’s nothing you can offer.” Kylo's face softens into something that looks almost like pity. Rey thinks she likes that even less than his anger.
Technically, he’s right. She’s already agreed to stay on this Destroyer, to be taught, to work under his tutelage. But this is Finn. Her first friend. The one who came back for her when no one else had.
And Rey has noticed the way that Kylo watches her sometimes, when he thinks that she doesn't see. The way that he blatantly won't look at her when she's recently out of the 'fresher, or the way that he scrambled to cover her with his cloak when her shirt was once torn during a training exercise. “That’s not true,” she says, hands starting to shake. She still has one final card to play.

“Down the mountain, by the river.”
“Who was it?”
“Five bounty hunters. Obi-Wan could sense them coming. He told me to run.” Her chin began to tremble. “But I heard him scream so I went back.”

Summary
Plot: Obi-Wan Kenobi is captured by Darth Maul and tortured as a prolonged act of revenge. Obi-Wan has an apprentice who is searching for him and tracks him to a planet on the Outer Rim, only to be captured as well. Darth Maul discovers the master is secretly pining over his apprentice and decides to defile Obi-Wan’s padawan to toy with him.
Slow burn to the actual Maul scenes. I want Kenobi to suffer first.
