Summary
Whenever fear and insecurity haunted him, Ben Solo would often reflect on the past when he took command of the First Order under the alias of Kylo Ren. The change happened so quickly, like a flash, while everything seemed to slow down. Sometimes, he caught himself remembering the pain that overtook his body watching Rey being tortured by Snoke. There was no forgetting the feeling, as if part of himself got shattered without mercy, the pulsing pain in his chest at that instant made him act. It was the first time he also managed to rid himself of Snoke from his mind.
He owed Rey so many lives that he hardly knew where to start.
