After she left Leona, her love, broken at the Summit, gasping and wincing and holding back tears, she could not let go of the past. She wanted to believe in their visions, present herself as living proof of the Lunari's survival, that Sun and Moon once worshipped in unity.
Something tugged at her stomach, a voice that at once was hers and so overwhelmingly other telling her no, that they would not listen.
She knew she was right, but she had to try. They had to see the truth, if it was threatening them in the flesh.

From the small flickering light of the lamppost in the corner, she could make out the faintest little gleam of blue, a striking sapphire, almost blood blue. It clashed against terracotta bricks, and was much too… organic to be some glow in the dark vandalism, or too dull to be any sort of inkling. She narrowed her eyes as she tried to make out any more, but it seemed to be just a trick of her eye.
Unfortunately for her, it was far from an illusion.
