Summary
Dumbledore’s train when he dies brings him to an alternate universe with Tom Riddle asking for the defense post. There, he rights his wrongs and hires Tom Riddle as a Defense Professor to keep him from becoming Voldemort. It works. (Mostly.) Canon!Harry does the same unintentionally when he is a Firm Adult and stumbles into this AU Hogwarts hoping to teach defense. He cannot bc Tom. There is only teaching one spot available: Muggle Studies. Chaos ensues as Muggle Studies becomes everyone’s favorite class and gains a reputation as the most difficult course at Hogwarts. Summary
In another life, Orochimaru never leaves Konoha, opting to remain within the village that equally reveres and reviles him. Fighting a bitter battle against forces within the village that are more influential and well-positioned, he finds himself gifted with one last shining opportunity: three children, a team of genin, handed to him because Konoha has no better choice. Orochimaru agrees to become a jounin-sensei for the first and the last time, taking on the next generation's Team Seven: Uchiha Sasuke, Nara Shikamaru, and Uzumaki Naruto.

Summary
Inko wakes up a few times with hazy nightmares of bruises and grinding bones. Hisashi sleeps soundly. She stares at the wall and thinks of the child she’s still keeping a secret, thinks about their future with a trapped mother and a father who wouldn’t think twice about ending a life. Her friends have disappeared. The boy who'd flirted with her is dead. Hisashi's right in the middle of it, with that smile that says he'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
She can’t let her baby end up like that. She can’t watch an innocent mind be warped into the person that Hisashi must be. It’ll be hard, raising a kid on her own. She hasn’t even gone to a doctor yet to make sure her pregnancy’s going okay. “Either I give up everything I have,” she says, hand resting on her belly. “Or I let Hisashi ruin my baby forever.”
