Summary
Hanahaki disease is a curse from the gods. A bother for cultivators as they can't cure it with the cultivation they possess.
It's a rare phenomenon of only the truest of matches, soulmates. The hanahaki take the form of a flower that best represents the soulmates relationship.
Jiang Cheng doesn't remember when he developed the disease; not exactly but he knows why and the person was unexpected even for him. Then again he was incapable of love so there was no need to fight for a possible relationship if it was going to be fake. After all Lan Xichen didn't care for him like that.
