“Which is victory!” Tsukasa simpered, a little too proud.
He couldn’t help it then, the little smile full of affection creeping its way out of his heart and making a home in his curled up lips, he couldn’t stop it. He didn’t intend to. “And my garage.”

Summary
A phase of your life coming to an end was the nature of this world, Tsukasa knew that, he has accepted this fact long, long ago. But it didn’t necessarily mean the ending should be a sad, heart breaking one. His main goal was to put on smiles on everyone’s face with his acting after all. And so, after a conversation with his best friend, he was set on to see smiles of everyone before the curtain call.
Even if it meant he has to have a close range fight with physics formulas.

Summary
Tsukasa smiled, his eyes were smiling too, his whole demeanor could fight the lighting came from his night lamp. He could fight the sun itself as well, if he wanted to. But Rui was familiar with Tsukasa; he knew the blonde wouldn't fight anyone, wouldn't replace any light or shine with his. Instead, Tsukasa would decide to coexist with them, make the shine brighter, make the light more blinding.
The thought made Rui yearn nonsensically, he only wanted one star on his stage after all.

Summary
He couldn't stop his body from giving away physical reactions. He loudly coughed and quickly covered his mouth with his hand.
He has known Rui for years, he used to be roommates with him before and after their debut, Rui is his closest friend and Tsukasa appreciates Rui's existence in his life greatly. However, of how many times he had seen Rui in fancy or daily clothes, it did not get old in the slightest. He just had this effect on Tsukasa.
So seeing him in ironed button-ups, neckties, boots, skin-tight jeans and a trench coat that fit his long and lean build very nicely wasn't strange to Tsukasa. That wasn't strange to him but noticing how Rui posed differently in every fit he wore; how careless his body language looked even though he was staring directly at the camera with those intense eyes of his and how gentle his smile was combined with the cute winky face he made in the other photograph... all of this made his breath grow quicker and heart beat faster.
He was acting like someone with a crush.
He gulped heavily.

But when their lead actress falls sick two weeks before opening night, the whole show seems set to be cancelled. Except, Rui has always been an unconventional director, and their annoyingly loud rehearsal pianist absolutely refuses to let his sister's efforts go to waste.
Or: Nene makes some friends and loses a lot of sanity, and Tsukasa gets a lead role.

It’s so stupid. Tsukasa has no other choice, trapped in the locked-up school grounds. And it had to be the last direction he expected this to go in, because it takes a while before he laughs.
“There’s no Kamo River here.”
Rui squeezes his palm. “And we’re not in Kyoto.”
Tsukasa closes his eyes to relish in an acknowledging nod. “Ah, Kyoto,” he says, voice hugging syllables. In these few beats of silence that split his words, Rui has lived entire lifetimes, yet none of them prepare him for what Tsukasa does next.
As Rui enters his third year of high school, he concludes: it’s the worst thing that happened to him (not really). His friends are there to help.

Rui has been thinking about voices lately.
Voices have always been a point of interest for him. Alongside the physical human body itself, voices are unique and interesting. Rui has always loved the way everyone has a different one, whether silky and teasing like his own or sharp and pretty like Nene’s. Some of them crack and some of them flow smooth like butter.
But specifically, he’s hung up on Tsukasa’s voice.
