    “I guess it is, then,” he was saying suddenly, his head hanging, arms numb and limp against the sink. He didn’t know why he was saying it, what cruel part of his head thought this was okay. All because he thought he deserved it. All because of his poor judgment.

    Ghost was stepping toward him, looming over him darkly from behind. “Soap-“

    “No,” he cut Ghost off. “I’m sorry I wasted your time. Sorry you had to put up with me.”

    Ghost’s dark eyes were wide as Soap left, watching after him, speechless and confused. Hurt.

    Soap returned to his room. For a few more hours, he watched the world turn outside, and then when he got sick of seeing it continue without him, he bitterly shut the drapes and curled up with his head under the pillow, pretending he didn’t exist.

    Sam is tired of having no say at his job at the fast food restaurant, Chub Burger. The manager, Mickey, is known to be sleazy and speak inappropriately toward his employees. Sam decides he could use this to his advantage. If the boss is a perv, why not try and get his attention for some extra perks?

    It looks at first as though he has no interest in Sam. But Sam figures out what Mickey really likes in an employee: a good appetite.
