If Luke is going to trust his instincts, then he knows he's meant to be here.
He’s meant to discover whatever is lurking, waiting to be found.Time and time again, Luke has felt similar strong feelings in his chest. And every time he chose to obey, he did so for a reason. It led him to something important that shaped and changed his life in ways he would've never even considered had he any semblance of impulse control.
Once again, Luke decides to go out on a whim and obey.
For the pounding in his ribcage could foreshadow deep pain that is to come, or hope that is to stay close to his heart.OR:
A rewrite of s1 ep6 when Din goes to rescue Qin from a new republic prison ship. Except, when he gets trapped in the cell, he doesn't escape, and the new republic x-wing that comes to investigate is none other than Luke Skywalker. -

Summary
The Armorer had said the Jedi were all but extinct. Maybe Din looks at this man and sees the well hidden loneliness. Maybe he understands what it feels like to be part of a dying order.
The Jedi is owed this small comfort, and Din suddenly wants to repay him for the comfort he rendered upon first meeting Din without even knowing him.
The selfless comfort the selfish for the hope that their hearts will soften, but ultimately it's an act of unadulterated kindness. How rare.OR:
my version of when Din and Luke first meet on Gideon's cruiser. Din is so confused and enamored. Luke is coddling Grogu unaware. -

Summary
Din had never thought he would die this way, but his situation was about as hopeless as his attempts to forget about his kid.
His kid. He yearns to at least see him one more time before he dies. That'd be nice, but Din has come to learn that he shouldn't expect nice things to happen to him.
OR
Din gets captured by imps and feels lost until someone saves him (spoiler alert its Luke being all charming while having a baby strapped to his chest. Din has a thing for beautiful strong family-oriented men)

Summary
When they reach their majority, every hobbit is encouraged to carve or forge a spoon that would be their Love Spoon. It’s a very sacred process as no talking can be done during the crafting of the spoon. All of their energy must be concentrated on pouring their hopes and dreams for the future into their spoon. Reflecting especially on what type of spouse would compliment them most, what type of marriage they hope to have, and what vows they would make to honor and cherish them. The symbols etched into their spoon would showcase all of this so that way when their future spouse used it for the first time, they knew exactly what they were getting out of this marriage. And that’s it. Once someone has taken a bite from a dish prepared by the spoon’s owner, they are married in the eyes of the Shire. The act is reciprocated, and the lucky couple move in together in marital bliss.
Bilbo agonized over his spoon. A spoon no one ever seemed to want, and he had accepted his fate at no one ever eating from. Then a company of dwarves invaded his dining room, and their leader took a bite...

Bilbo turns his gaze on Thorin once again. He must have noticed the movement because he turns his head to look at Bilbo and his stern face breaks into a gentle smile. Bilbo is helpless in the face of it and smiles back; he thinks he couldn’t have stopped himself if he’d tried. Thorin’s face brightens even more and when a dwarf next to him speaks to him, he seems reluctant to look away, but he does, leaving Bilbo to stare after him in stunned realization.
“Oh,” he says, breathlessly. “Oh, wow.”
