One random rogue vampire changed everything for Ron Weasley when he was 13. Craving blood wasn't the only change made that year.At 17, the war descending on them is different than the last time. Magic can fix almost everything, keyword almost but it can't fix what was never there like Ron's hearing. He was born Deaf and while the rest of the wizarding world was ready to throw him away, the Weasley's have never known to give up. What changes? Well, a few things.
Ron stared with wide eyes at the Hogwarts letter, hardly believing that it was addressed specifically to him. He caught mum’s pleased smile out of the corner of his eye and met her gaze. He hesitated before he phrased his question with his hand gestures, signing ‘I’m really allowed to go?’
Mum’s eyes watered she gestured as she spoke “of course, you're a wizard, you can still do magic.”

Ron makes a mistake in the floo network, finding himself in the English countryside without his wand. Unexpectedly, the distance from his family becomes a much need retreat giving him time think about his relationships, anxieties of the coming year, and sexuality.
"He was truly muscular, he reminded him of the same build as Viktor Krum. Ron flushed looking away from Dev’s back. “Aunty” Dev greeted the woman at the bar.
The woman turned and Ron got a better look at her. She tall and thin with a bob of silver and purple hair. She had a natural sort of smirk to her face."

Professor Malfoy is the Defense teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. His neutral expression tries to hide a gentle voice and small smile when a student has done a job well done. His students seek that particular smile as they do their best in his class.
Professor Malfoy is surprisingly beloved by his students and he, thought he may deny it, has a pride for them.
"Teddy sat at a desk like the rest of the students, and they all nervously waited for him to speak. "Good morning, I'll take class attendance, and then we can begin," he said. Teddy perked a little; his voice was gentle even though he didn't smile. He wasn't scowling either, though."

Trouble is not new for Mai, she has always dealt with past trouble, swiftly with precision, not to mention, ‘discretely’. This trouble, however, is proving to be one she’s unwilling to ‘deal’ with nor avoid.
