Summary
"Don't leave," Oikawa says, "Please, don't leave."
Hajime exhales. "You already did."
---
Set in a world where your social rating—a score based on others rating you during or after interactions with them—determines everything about your life. Iwaizumi Hajime's best friend abandons him when their initial ratings, given to them at 18, are too far apart. Maybe it'd be an easier grudge to move past if he hadn't been in love with him at the time.
(Universe inspired by the "Nosedive" episode of Netflix's Black Mirror, no prior knowledge necessary.)
