To put it simply, Jeremy Heere is fucking exhausted.
He's always hated the way things were, and since exiling the faulty computer chip in his brain, the universe has sent him hurtling towards a fate far worse than that of the past: his best friend won't talk to him (rightfully deserved, truthfully), the rest of the people he knows are all hurting at his expense, and he's more alone than ever. Feeling has become a curse, eating is a chore, and self-care? Jeremy can't even force himself to think about it.
He wants to fix the stupid mess he created, but stuck in this slump, he doesn't even know where to begin. Can this even be fixed? Or is he just forever doomed to be dealt bad hands by the universe?
