“I think about you all the time,” he said.
Seokjin furrowed his brow, almost like he didn’t believe Namjoon. He couldn’t quite decipher it either. Was it only recently he was thinking of Seokjin, or had it been a while now? There was a strange feeling of satisfaction that came with the thought of it being longer, and it almost made him not want to ask.
Seokjin picked up the bottle again, taking another sip like it was to quiet the feeling in his gut. Namjoon stared at him like he might have messed up admitting it. It was only a few days ago that Seokjin had told him he felt like no one was asking him how he felt.
“Was that selfish?” He asked.
Seokjin paused, “yes. But with the way you’re looking at me I think you needed it more than I did.”
—where Seokjin is so bad at admitting his feelings he loses his twin flame until the universe drops him right back on his doorstep.

“I’m working on this beautiful painting,” Taehyung explains. “But someone tried to fix up some chipped spots and they clearly didn’t have any experience. It’s a very intricate piece, all these tiny flowers, lots of tiny spots of color. None of what they used matches.”
“Did they ruin the painting?”
“I don’t think so,” Taehyung says. He shakes his head, looking thoughtful. “I don’t think anything is ever really ruined. It might not be the same as it was originally, but it can be fixed and restored. And it will still be well loved by the people who care.”
Ruined. A harsh word, like broken, useless, crushed. Yoongi often feels that way, all of these ways. And yet… Maybe he could be restored, in some way. Even if it’s not the same as before, maybe there could still be something worthwhile…
