Summary
Isagi stares at a blank spot on a wall surrounded by casing. Obviously where a door would go had this room a door. He has no idea how he got here. Kaiser stares at the same empty spot next to him. There's a king sized bed behind them with a pair of nightstands. The room has a bathroom with a shower and a bath, but no windows.
Isagi doesn't know how they got here. He remembers waking up on the bed, and nothing before that. Kaiser seems remarkably calm about all this. He wishes Kaiser would at least have the courtesy to throw a fit.
“I guess we're gonna die here, huh?” Isagi tries a joke. Kaiser stares wordlessly at him, then turns and walks to the bed. Again, Isagi wishes Kaiser would just be mad. He doesn't get it, this room. It's impossible. If he thinks about it too much it feels small and suffocating.
He hears a drawer open. “Yoichi.” Kaiser calls. It's the first thing he's said in the 10 minutes since they woke up. Yoichi looks and sees Kaiser holding a note next to the nightstand:
