Summary
Ceremorphosis, as a medical term and phenomenon, is familiar to her, purely academically. But suddenly and violently it is no longer a strange, abstract problem a provincial Selûnite cleric is unlikely to ever encounter.
Isobel is reunited with her father. But this will not be the end of her.

Summary
This fic takes place right after Act II. I like to think and imagine that everyone rested up at the Inn, rather than making camp before heading to Baldur's Gate. And here, Shadowheart is a wreck after the discovery of her life being a lie and her decision to disobey Shar. Diana (Tav) is there for her (of course she is, as a Paladin of Devotion, being there as a shoulder to cry on for those you care about the most is a given).
This may become a series of ficlets/ones hots. As I have added a 2nd chapter that can be seen as a prelude to this or as a standalone.

Summary
Isobel stares past the pale blur of Aylin’s face, up to the moonlit sky. It has taken her a month’s worth of learning how to feel something bordering on human, and still she feels wholly undeserving of Selûne’s grace. If she cannot expel the rot within her, then what use is she next to a demigod? It is as though death has done little more than affirm whatever anxieties had swelled within her even before things had gone to utter shit.
Aylin, an untouchable star blazing through the sky; Isobel, who rests six feet below the cold earth. Father always did claim they were galaxies apart from one another. Now, she wonders if he was right all along.
( If the cleric looks into the darkness, something else looks back. She should have remained dead. )

Summary
There is a part of Aylin still in that cage. There is a part of you still in that grave.
From that night of your coming-of-age ritual when you astounded all of Reithwin with the uncanny speed of your return from the woods, to your desperate flight away from your own grave, one thing has remained true. The guidance was granted, no matter the harshness or difficulty of the path. But it has always, always been up to you to walk it.
The brilliant, defiant Beacon of Last Light many revere from afar. Isobel Thorm they do not know at all.
