Summary
Alex was still stressed from their last show. The venue fucked up royally, but despite it all, the boys still put on one hell of a show. However, even after Alex couldn't sleep, he stayed up late on his laptop, staring at contracts and emails. Matt could see the exhaustion carved on his friend's face, and he couldn't just go back to sleep knowing that Alex would wrack his brain for the next few hours. Taking the laptop and putting it aside, Matt decides that he will help Alex relax just enough to sleep.

When Sonny had said he’d be watching, Joshua hadn’t actually believed him. He’d thought it was something like intimidation, maybe incentive to do better, some kind of go-get-‘em-champ bull——not an actual threat.
Then Sonny starts texting him.

Sonny keeps in touch with Joshua even after he leaves APX GP, much to Joshua’s chagrin. All that said, it doesn’t take long at all for him to get attached. And once Sonny starts acting strangely, it doesn’t take long for him to get worried either.
