Seungmin notes Jeongin’s stare and clears his throat. “Massive internal bleeding,” he diagnoses. “Broken ribs, obviously. I’d say it’s more humane to put the thing out of its misery if you’re not going to turn it.”
“Is this, like—a death hallucination?” the human wonders, and the light flickers from its eyes. “Shouldn’t I be seeing the light? Not, like—vampire fantasy?"
“Humans are so silly,” Felix notes, prodding the human’s cheek with his fingertip. “And squishy and cute. Jeonginnie, can we get, like, a pet human?”
