Every time I come across this fic I want to read it again. It's funny and clever and the concept shouldn't work but the author slots the Elric brothers into the Yuri on Ice world seamlessly. The story establishes a pre-canon background before progresses through canon events and Metisket does a fantastic job of building onto the story, adding to the narrative and supporting the character development.

This fic is endgame Shěn Qīngqiū/Liǔ Qīnggē/Yuè Qīngyuán.
It takes time for the characters to get together, but there is zero partner infidelity and very little angst. There's lots of pining, but it's happy pining. This is fluff. Everyone is happy and loving and supportive.

I love this story. It has replaced canon for me. It's so long and fascinating with how everything weaves together, that every now and then I go back to read a passage or an arc that I loved, then have to stop myself from re-reading the whole thing (it would take weeks!). The characters change and grow steadily over time and you don't realise how much they've changed until you go back to a much earlier chapter. An amazing piece of work.

Brilliant world building and fantastic character development. Amongst all the plot, it explores how All Might ended up as an isolated hero and the parallels between his past and a pre-UA! Midoriya's present. Which results in Midoriya learning to have some mental health and self-preservation skills.

Lan Zhan clamped both hands over his own mouth to stop the pained noise that threatened to escape him. Hot tears spilled down his face as he watched the young, safe, and whole boy sleep. His stomach cramped with the effort of holding the sound in, but he’d sooner die than wake Wei Ying up.

A time travel story where everyone has their own corner of the puzzle to solve but they're so good at their jobs that everything falls into place with way less effort than anyone probably expected. Its a very good feels kind of story and lovingly written with well explored characterisation and all the plot points very cleverly coming together. Written from Lan Wangji pov.
