The black Porsche rolled to a stop outside an elegant, dimly lit restaurant on a quiet street in Paris. Karina glanced at the building, noticing how still it looked. The place seemed to be closed. No waitstaff standing by the entrance, no other guests arriving. The silence was striking, especially compared to the bustling streets they had driven through earlier.
Karina's lips parted in surprise. "Is it… closed?"
Minjeong chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling. “Not for us.” She gave a small shrug, as if this were the most normal thing in the world. “I asked for the whole place to be reserved tonight. I wanted a little privacy.”
