Summary
Thorn used to tease Fox about his love life, settling on trying to get him to talk to a Pantoran senator he thought was similar to him. Then the incident on Scipio occurred. Shortly afterwards, an assassination attempt was made on the life of Senator Riyo Chuchi, and the only suitable guardsman to protect her was Fox. From there spirals a "secret" romance that pulls them into unexpected directions in the wake of the fall of the Republic as Fox and Thire discover a terrible secret about their leadership, taking them down the path of treason.
