Summary
When Katsuki’s parents had mentioned they had rented a whole mountain lodge for their yearly winter vacation, Izuku had expected to have to prepare for a week without his partner, not be invited alongside his mother.
Now, he’s more than happy for that to have been the case, thrilled to be able to spend this time with Katsuki. It was exciting, in a way, to have his family so intertwined with his boyfriend’s own. They had always been close growing up, but something about this just felt different.
Maybe it was because it was his first time spending time with them as Katsuki’s boyfriend.
Childhood friend, classmate, rival, and hero partner, those were the only titles their parents had for them, all true but now severely outdated. Their relationship was different now, better even, yet their development remained hidden, still unsure of how to break the news.
For one vacation they can just be childhood friends, right?
