Summary
'The popular kids' - a gang of students who represent that whole year, all the other 'NPCS' could just be considered cardboard cutouts next to them. Ivan and Mizi are inevitably a part of that group, yet they couldn't be any more terribly loved by the whole year. Even the nameless kids who never bothered to even glance at 'the popular kids' would perk their heads up when Mizi or Ivan's voices echoed in the hallways. And how in the world did that infamously beautiful duo get mixed up with 'the weird duo' - Sua and Till. They were loners who took pride in being different, maybe even nerdy - complete opposite of Ivan and Mizi, really.

Jay’s a troublemaker with a guitar, too many earrings, and a talent for being dramatic. Jungwon’s a quiet dancer who says nothing but somehow speaks through every move he makes. They go to Moonridge High,a weirdly aesthetic school in the rainy town of Cloudveil.
Jay has never been in love. Like, ever. But then he sees Jungwon dancing,to his band’s song,and boom.He forgets how to breathe. He forgets he has practice. He forgets his own name, probably.
Meanwhile, Jungwon’s just trying to keep it together. His mom, a ballerina, recently passed away. Dance is how he survives. He doesn’t need distractions. Especially not guitar boys with floppy hair and leather jackets.
But then the Monsoon Bloom Festival rolls around. Jay performs. Jungwon performs. It rains. People cry. Jay calls Jungwon “pretty” into a microphone. The entire school loses their minds.
It’s messy. It’s fluffy. It’s angsty slow burn with jokes and friendship and rainy concerts and hand-written songs and boys falling in love when they’re not supposed to.
