Summary
Leona often wondered why it was happening to her. She had always been so devoted to the Sun, so faithful to serving Her. Why then was she drowning, haunted by her past’s ghosts? Was she not doing enough? Were it the consequences of being the chosen one?
And as it was not bad enough, that happened. She was only attending to an occurrence, only chasing a prisoner. But there she was, just as in her memories from that day at the top of Mount Targon, staring at her with those lilac eyes.
On that day, she prayed more, tried more, but it was useless. She could only think about it while attempting to sleep.
