Summary
Jason and Paisley Todd came as a package deal, where one went, the other wasn't far behind. But after Jason dies. . . well how do you move on when your other half is buried six feet deep?
Paisley comes home after a few years away to find that Gotham isn't how she left it and there's a guy in a red helmet causing havoc where she and her twin grew up.
She has to come to terms with her brother's death and try to find her place back in the batfam before anything can get better. But it's much harder than anticipated when your dead brother's face doesn't stop popping up.This fic is about family and every kind of mess that comes with it.
Still figuring out how how everything fits together, so, you know, heads up and all that.

He’s nine again– nine and new and knows so many things now so rather than try to go back–
He thinks he has the chance to make things right.
The bright blue trainers he puts on are a pair he hasn’t worn in forever, something he never thought about after he grew out of them (will grow out of?) a year from now, and sets off into the night and into the rain.
The plan he has in his brain is not really a plan, moreso just a couple of half thrown ideas and maybe five steps into building back the life he had in the most painless way he could.
Maybe, he thinks, maybe this plan can start off with the family he misses– because he’s sixty and most of them too injured or too old or too dead–
Call him selfish but he misses them. He would rather find them than get himself back into that lonely existence he called a life before he woke up at nine.
Dick makes do because that’s all he can do really.

So now, here she is—working for the literal embodiment of evil while simultaneously trying to save-slash-rehabilitate a girl whose way of showing affection involves a lot of stabbing, planning to kill said embodiment of evil, debating the pros and cons of tipping off Sir Nighteye about the quirk-erasing bullets several months early, and slowly attempting to get Shigaraki to chill the fuck out so that he’s easier to sway from the dark side later on.
And all of that’s not even counting Dabi’s entire existence, the fact that she’s pretty sure Hawks is gonna try to kill Twice at some point, the impending war, and that weird fucking quirk doctor guy that she needs to track down.
‘Fuck, being heroic sucks ass.’
Or, a very pissed-off girl decides she's gonna assassinate All for One and drag the League of Villains kicking and screaming into therapy.

But then Kim starts acting strange, and Jared is MIA, and to top all that weirdness off, Paul Lahote comes barrelling back into her life, and her once unrequited, mostly forgotten, stupid high school crush for the man won't go back into its box.
Let it be known that Connie Jenkins never backs down from a challenge. Something is terribly amiss in La Push--and it's not just the fact that Paul is suddenly popping up everywhere she looks.
Really, there's only so much a woman can handle before she's melting at the knees. God save her soul.
