;; i’m adoring this! it is a bit hard to get absorbed into oc x canon because oc are fleshed out adults in the writer’s mind and metaphorical infants in the audience’s view. this, THIS, however hooked me from chapter 1. it takes a new spin upon original character x canon by having the oc presume his love interest is not worth going for, it is hopeless to seek love with jade leech, and that is so refreshing to see in fanfiction-stylized writing.
;; the altering POV is a choice decision that is working out very well! jade’s cruel logical mind is always fun to dip one’s fingers into. i especially enjoy yuu’s perspective on the world around him and only wish the best for him! the drama is so ripe and sweet.
